Mrs. Neal's First Graders - All about shapes. . .

 Using foods to identify their shapes, Mrs. Neal’s first graders had fun wrapping up their shape unit.

Mrs. Neal's 1st Grade Class Studies Insects

Mrs. Neal's first graders have been studying insects.  Students read the Ant and the Grasshopper then created their own insect.  These insects can do some pretty cool things.  Some can dance on a log, play basketball and sing pretty.

Butterflies, butterflies. . .

After 21 days of watching the life cycle of our butterflies, it was time for their release.  The kids cheered as each one flew away.

Community Partners Visit Mrs. Neal's Class

Mrs. Neal's community partner is the Fairfield County Sheriff's Deptartment.  Deputies from the department paid the class a visit to help them write about how police officers are community helpers.
