The swim team competed against Lancaster and Bloom Carroll High Schools on Friday, February 2. The Girls team placed 2nd and the Boys team placed 3rd narrowly losing to Bloom Carroll by one point. Emily Burke won the Girls 50 Yard Butterfly and Laith Wolfe won the Boys 50 Yard Backstroke. The teams had some more great time drops. Anthony Barnecut dropped 16.68 seconds on his 100 Yard Freestyle. Avery Long dropped 6.11 seconds and Will Denny dropped 7.2 seconds in the 100 Yard IM. Abbie Pike bettered her 50 butterfly time by 7.73 seconds and her 50 Yard Breaststroke by almost 5 seconds. The swim team will compete at the Sectionals Meet on Saturday, February 10.
