The Boys and Girls Varsity Swim teams competed at the Southeast Sectionals Swim Tournament on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The teams combined had 25 more PRs for individual and relay events.
Megan McMahon placed 2nd in the 100 yard Backstroke and earned a place on the podium!! From this meet, 10 of the swimmers will be heading to the DII District Swim meet on Friday, February 14. Those moving on are the Girls Medley Relay team (Megan McMahon, Allison Freeland, Katie
McMahon, Abbie Pike), the Boys Medley Relay team (Laith Wolfe, Will Denny, Angelo Galella, Anthony Barnecut), the Boys 200 Free Relay team (Laith Wolfe, Sam Smith, Anthony Barencut, Angelo Galella), and the Girls 400 yard Free Relay team (Nora Vail, Abbie Pike, Katie McMahon, Megan McMahon).
In addition to these relay teams, Megan McMahon qualified in both of her individual events, the 50 yard Freestyle and the 100 yard Backstroke, Angelo Galella qualified in the 100 yard Butterfly, and Will Denny qualified in the 100 yard Breaststroke. Good luck swimmers!! Let's go Falcons!
