A special thanks to:
Our day started with delicious breakfast bags provided by Ella Truax’s mom, Amanda Truax. Mrs. Haughn and Mrs. Gatton graciously supplied jam-packed treat bags. Finally, Alexandria Lang’s mom provided so many additional snacks, it will keep our writers well-nourished throughout our after-school meetings for weeks to come. Also, thank you to Mrs. Elly Diehl for judging and supporting us throughout the day.
In about a week, we will learn of the team members that advance to the Regional Power of the Pen Tournament which will be held at Ohio University, Lancaster on Friday, March 7, 2025 as our teams will compete to maintain our 2024 Sweepstakes Trophy that we earned last year. (This was a trophy awarded to the top team with the most points from both 7th and 8th grade teams collectively).
Let’s go writers! Keep it going! : )
