Homeschooling is an educational opportunity provided for in Ohio law. It allows the parent to withdraw their student from school and assume responsibility for their child’s education. Parents interested in educating their children at home should complete the Home Education Notification Form and return it to the Fairfield Union Local School District, 6417 Cincinnati-Zanesville Road NE, Lancaster, OH 43130. Notification should be provided within five calendar days after commencing home education, moving into the school district, or withdrawing from the school district, and by the 30th day of August each year thereafter. The Superintendent's office will respond with a written acknowledgement of receipt of this notification.
